Cynthia Claire Vollenweider passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2017, after giving her family, friends, and those around her 64 years of joy and warmth. Cindy always had a smile and a laugh and enjoyed being with her friends through the years. She and her family deeply appreciated and will always be thankful for those people who helped during her lifetime, starting with St. Michael's Special School in New Orleans, the ARC of Fort Bend County, Windsor Quail Valley, and the countless friends, caregivers, and volunteers who loved and cared for her.
Cindy was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence. She is survived by her mother, Betty Jo, her sister, Susan, brothers, Larry, and Gary, niece, Laura, and nephew, James.
Visitation will begin at 9:00am on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Forest Park Westheimer, 12800 Westheimer Rd., Houston, TX 77077. Funeral service will follow at 10:30am, and, afterwards, a reception at the funeral home.
