Cynthia Mae Moore passed away February 20, 2012 in a Katy hospital at the age of 64. She was born August 26, 1947 in Jacksonville, North Carolina to B. L. English and Hilda Juanita Coffield English. Cynthia lived in the Houston/Katy area most of her life. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved being a devoted homemaker. She was an avid reader of the Bible (a true follower of Christ) and enjoyed playing Scrabble but most of all, she loved to spend time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, B. L. and Hilda English and sister Cheryl English. Survivors include her husband of nearly 40 years, Dave Moore; son, Jacob Moore; daughter, Nita Moore; daughter-in-law, Jana Moore; granddaughter, Molly Moore; sister, Rebecca Bearden and family; and a brother, Larry English; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held in the Chapel at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 24, 2012. Interment will be private.
