After several months of hospitalization, Cindy succumbed to the complications from her heart surgery and passed away on September 16, 2022. Cynthia Ann Hall was born December 28, 1959 to Clifton and Jane Hall in Dover Delaware. Her family relocated to Houston, Texas in 1963 and she grew up in the Aldine area.
Cindy graduated from MacArthur High School and went on to Lamar University. While at Lamar, she began a love of sign language as a way of communicating with deaf people. She went on to have a long career of working with hearing impaired children as a sign language interpreter in public schools. She enjoyed being with children and seeing them learn and grow. She was employed by Aldine ISD for 24 years.
Cindy also loved Christmas. It was her favorite time of year. She enjoyed watching Christmas Hallmark movies, counted cross-stitch and playing board games with her family.
Cindy is preceded in death by her parents, Clifton Ray Hall and Jane Ann Schmidt Hall.
She is survived by sister, Sharon Torres and husband Jimmy; brother by heart, Tommy West; niece, Kristan Torres and boyfriend Michael Gossett; nephew, Ryan Torres and wife Courtney; great niece, Jillian Marosko; great nephews, Noah Gossett, Gavin Marosko, Colter Torres, Brenham Torres, Ryker Torres and Bryce Gossett, as well as extended family and friends.
