Cynthia A Arenas

Cynthia Ann Arenas, 60, of Houston Texas passed away on May 4, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Her fondest memory she had as a child was when her dad would take the family swimming and they would snack on summer sausage and crackers. Some of her proudest family moments were the birth of her daughters and watching them perform in choir and it always made her smile to recollect on the times they spent together as they were growing up. She liked volunteering at church especially when she helped to teach children about God. Some of her favorite hobbies were gardening, dancing, shopping, volleyball and swimming. Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 41 years Carlos, her daughters, Cecilia Moreno and Corrina Arenas as well as her grandchildren; Corrine, Priscilla, Carlos, Destiny, Adrian Jr., Jordan and Brianna and her sisters Victoria, Betty and Maria. Also left behind are numerous nieces and nephews and countless other family members and friends. A visitation will be held on Monday, May 8, 2017 from 5-9 PM with the rosary being recited at 7 PM at Crespo Funeral Home – Broadway located at 4136 Broadway St. in Houston, Texas. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at 11 AM at St. Christopher Catholic Church located at 8150 Park Place in Houston, Texas. Interment will follow at 2 PM at Forest Park Lawndale located at 6900 Lawndale in Houston, Texas.
