Curtis Frazier was born April 11, 1942 in the Dies Community (Woodville, Texas). Curtis was the fifth of seven children born to the union of the late Fred and Sadie (Gill) Frazier. Curtis joined the Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church of Dies Community as a young boy and remained an active member of church services and events throughout his life. One sister Sadie Frazier Hamilton preceded him to her eternal life.
Curtis graduated from Scott High School and married his sweetheart, Vanestine Runnels. Married for fifty-two years, to this union was born a son, Curtis Frazier, Jr.
Curtis was employed with Industrial Contractors, Inc., (a company of engineering and construction). Employed for sixteen years as Construction Superintendent, Curtis retired after completing his most stellar job: building the City of El Paso’s Water Treatment Plant.
