Curran Kenneth Rehm, 29, of Houston, TX, was found deceased on the 15th of April 2018, after disappearing on the 12th of April 2018. He was born on 31st of October 1988, and was the first of three children of Kevin and Linda Rehm.
Curran attended Saint Thomas More grade school and Bellaire High School in Houston, TX. In college, he studied Architecture at The University of Arkansas and received a Bachelor of Science in 2011. His bright light and giving heart developed lifelong friendships all along the way.
After completing school, he returned to Houston and began his career with Permaculture Design, creating beautiful outdoor spaces in and around the city. This passion extended into Curran’s own wonderful garden in his yard as well as into those of his friends and neighbors. He was quick to show up at your doorstep with an armful of fruit or vegetables from his garden, or to pick some for you while visiting his house in the Fourth Ward. He was a quiet soul with a calming presence and always saw the good in everyone he met.
Curran had a lifelong love of music, taking up the guitar in grade school and playing in several bands throughout his life including The Riff Tiffs, Cadre, and The Nathan Quick Band. Music was his bliss, providing an outlet for expression and within it, found peace. Curran always loved a project, and found joy in things like fixing up a guitar, working on his trucks, writing a song, maintaining his bicycles, designing a landscaping project, and making furniture - he did all these with his unique spirit of giving. He enjoyed camping and taking many road trips with his girlfriend Danielle Blut, and was always up for a visit to the family’s fishing camp in Chinquapin, TX with his loved ones. He wanted to fill every spare moment with these adored activities, but no matter how much he had on his plate, if you asked him for anything, he would be more than willing to give you some of his time, energy, talent, and heart.
Predeceased by his beloved grandfather, Frank J. Sica. Those left behind to mourn his absence include parents, Kevin and Linda Rehm; brother, Christopher; sister, Celia; longtime girlfriend Danielle Blut; grandmother, Tina Sica; grandparents Kenneth and Eileen Rehm; numerous beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins. Curran also leaves behind countless friends and so many other lives his beautiful soul touched during his short time on this earth.
