Heavens gates opened for Cristina Ann Diaz-Anderson (Tina), as she entered to eternal rest on Friday, April 28th at the youthful age of 45. On February 12th, 1978, in Houston Texas a beautiful bouncing baby girl was born to Jesse Guillermo and Rachel Diaz. Tina grew up in Houston, Texas and attended Galena Park High School and San Jacinto College. She was innovative, smart, and worked hard which quickly placed her in leadership roles.
On August 6th, 2016, she married the love of her life, Eric DeWitt Anderson, together they were parents and life partners. Cristina loved spending time with children, especially her own. Her children were the center of her life. She enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends, going to the beach, and watching sunsets. She cherished her neighbors and enjoyed baking for others. For those that knew her, she was a warrior. She always fought for those who couldn’t fight for themselves. Let’s talk about gifts. Receiving a gift from Tina could sometimes bring tears to your eyes, she focused on exactly what would make your heart happy. Her favorite songs are Tangled Up In You (Staind), Be Alright (Danny Gokey-Evan Craft), King of the World (Natalie Grant), You Say (Lauren Daigle), Somewhere Over the Rainbow (Isreal Kamakawiwo’ole). Tina’s legacy was her ability to influence others to be a better version of themselves. This reflects in all the lives she touched and everything she did.
Tina was a beautiful person inside and out. Her smile was so stunning it would light up the whole room. She cared so deeply for the people around her. She was so kind and passionate. She made an impact on many lives. She truly believed in God and was a shining example of his grace and his love.
