She is from Wichita, Kansas, and has resided in Houston for over 40 years. Connie loved to play Bridge (in several bridge groups), she was involved in many neighborhood activities including the Sherwood Oaks Women's Club and Citizens on Patrol, and she loved being a member in her Beta Sigma Phi Sorority for 58-1/2 years - she was proud of her 16 years of perfect attendance. She loved to read and she loved to decorate her home for any season, if there wasn't a holiday there was a season!
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and La Veta Holloway; her husband, Jack, they were married for 64 years; her son, David; and her grandson, Erick.
Connie is survived by her two loving daughters, Vee Ellen Lewis and her husband William, and Vanessa Cline and her husband Andy; grandchildren, Clifford and Sean Lewis and Andrew Cline; brother, Robert Holloway and wife Sharon; nephew, Mark Holloway and family, Carrie Holloway; and nieces Karen Anderson and Kathy Hughes and family.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted in the chapel of Memorial Oaks Funeral Home on July 16, 2018 at 10 o'clock in the morning.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation please be made to The American Heart Association or Alzheimer's Association.
