I am so sorry for all of y’all’s lost. I had no knowledge of this till now. I can recall visiting granny & grandpa Swann & she would be there with all the family visiting. I have very  happy memories of all the times there. May god be with you all during this time of lost.

I am sorry that I did not have the courage to stand and give testimony. As mentioned in the testimony given I was one of those that called her mom as well. As a youth I was welcomed into the Mills family in times of fun and in those struggling times of my youth. 
I don’t know how to say all that I wish to say all I can do is thank her for all the time and consideration she allotted  me. I can attribute part of who I am to the time and stern direction she shared. So from being the little boy running around and showing up even when not invited to present day I never felt unwelcome.
Even the time we worked together she never complained much. 
I think of the little manual labor I do these days at 51 and she kept up with me when she was in her middle years, when I was in my twenties.  With a whole lot less complaints than I had.
I can tell you this she helped make that job more tolerable if not enjoyable.
It was a pleasure knowing Connie for these past 35 years. I only wish I was around more to help pay back all that she gave me. God bless her and welcome her into his precious light.  


Thank you all for allowing me to take care of Ms Connie in her final days. May her soul rest in peace and may memories of her pass down for generations to come. May the lord comfort you with peace, strength and love during your time of grieving. Hugs to the entire family.

Connie raised a wonderful family she was loved by all her and grandchildren. She would come to work with Carrie and help us out some and share lunch with us ,she was always so positive and  delightful to be with. She will be missed by so many family members and friends . May God Bless this family send them the mercy grace and peace that they need at this appointed time.

I remember when I just got the call that I had the job from where I currently work at, and I had called Denise and Connie to share the good news, and Denise said "Oh how exciting! Let me hand you the phone to tell grandma!" 
I replied "Grandma? You mean Aunt Connie? Haha!" We laughed and Denise said "Well, Aunt Grandma! "and thats how I started calling her Aunt Grandma. She was an amazing person, that I really enjoyed in life. 


I have been truly blessed to have had such an awesome MIL.  I have so many fond memories of taking her on vacations with us, having girl trips with her and laughing a lot!!  Will miss her dearly.
