Clyde F. Lambert went to be with the Lord on September 22, 2024 at the age of 90. He was born on April 24, 1934 in Guntersville, Alabama to parents, William and Dora Lambert. He was a Christian man that always spoke of the Lord and had a kind word for everyone he met.
Clyde was a veteran in the US Army. He was an ILA longshoreman at the Port of Houston for 35 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Woodville, TX where he served as a deacon. He was involved in a prison ministry and member of the local Lyons Club in Woodville.
Clyde was married to Mary Ruth, his loving wife for 63 years. He lived in Woodville for the past 30 years where he enjoyed full time gardening while serving the community. He was a devoted family man. He enjoyed his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Clyde loved the outdoors and enjoyed many years hunting and fishing.
Clyde is survived by his loving family, children; Clyde J. Lambert and wife, Nancy, Wanda Jean Krzywdzinski and husband Gary, daughter-in-law, Donna, grandchildren; April Huffman, Charity Moran, Jonathan Krzywdzinski, Alicia Garcia and Matthew Lambert, great-grandchildren; Hannah, Halle, and Haile Huffman, Bailey and Conner Moran and Julianne Garcia.
A visitation for Clyde will be held Friday, September 27, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A homegoing celebration will occur Saturday, September 28, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A committal service will occur Saturday, September 28, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039.
