Clifton Bailey Burleson

Clifton Bailey Burleson of Houston, Texas, went to be with is Lord on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 in Houston, Texas. He was born January 12, 1919 to Trox Oliver Burleson and Lena Eschberger Burleson. Clifton was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend that will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him.

He is survived by his son C.R. Burleson and his wife Glenda; daughter Fairis Burleson; son-in-law Jimmie Craig; grandchildren: Robert Williams, Debbie Casares, Sandy Sharpe, Tonya Clifton, Gene Craig; great-grandchildren: Brandon Williams, Kelsey Williams, Kenneth Sanchez, Bailey Casares, Jackie Orr, James Orr, Cameron Craig, Christopher Craig; great-great-grandchildren: Audrey Williams, Alexis Burns, Liyah Craig, Amelia Craig, Anthony Craig; sister Ruth Lippe and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Clifton is preceded by his parents, daughter Geraldine Craig, sisters: Marie Close, Adell Smith, Aline Lippe; brothers: Frank A. Burleson, Kenneth C. Burleson, T.R. Burleson, Donald Max Burleson.

The family will receive friends for visitation Wednesday, September 6, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A funeral service will be held Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Family Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home followed by a burial in Brookside Memorial Park.
