He was born in Houston, Texas on March 24, 1946. Clifford attended school until 9th grade.
Clifford had a career in Iron Working, Garage Door Tech, and as a Truck Driver.
He was a member of Aldine Masonic Lodge 1412 and had a passion for hunting and preaching the gospel and spreading the love of Jesus Christ.
He is survived by his children Mechelle Green and husband Pat, Tanya Hoevelman and husband Shane, Dana McNew, Michael "Shane" McNew, Amanda Rains and Chris Cooper (Spouse of deceased daughter Sherry Cooper); grandchildren, Hana Saldivar and husband Patrick, Micah Hoevelman and wife Amanda, Zac Hoevelman and wife Allie, Megan Shimerka and husband Kyle, Caitlin Peterson and husband Larry, Austin Green, and Morgan Blanke, 15 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and Aunt Joyce and Uncle Glenn Lowry.
A visitation for Clifford will be held Thursday, October 3, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Earthman Resthaven, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A funeral service will occur Friday, October 4, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Grace Family Fellowship, 12615 Cude Cemetery Rd, Willis, TX 77318. A graveside service will occur Friday, October 4, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home and Cemetery, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060.
