Beloved son, husband, father and uncle, Sonny passed away peacefully on Saturday, the 27th of October 2018 in Austin, Texas surrounded by his family. He was 65 years of age.
Sonny was born on the 2nd of August 1953, in Conroe, Texas to Clarence E. Sr. and Rachel James. Sonny was a graduate of Jesse H. Jones High School.
Sonny was an entrepreneur and musician. His unique, decades-long music career brought joy and laughter to many friends and fans across the globe.
Sonny is survived by his wife Heather, daughter Emily James, his parents, Clarence E. Sr. and Rachel James, his sister Sandra Walker and her husband George Walker, nephew George Walker Jr. and niece Trina Walker; Uncle, Charles and Jackie James; Aunt Halle and Lawrence Williams; Aunt Evie Warren.
Services will be held on Saturday, November 3rd @ 11am with a viewing from 10am - 11am at:
