She was born in Canton, China and immigrated to the United States in 1959 with her husband Gar Fong Yee and their five
sons, Kai Kong (Phillip), Kai Leung (Ronald), Kai Ming (Larry), Kai Cheung (Joe), Kai Chun (John) and with Kai Shui (Steven)
in the oven. After settling in Houston, Texas with her family, Steven was born days after she arrived. Then came number seven
Kai Wat (David), the last of the boys. Then three years later, came the one she had been waiting for...since Kai Kong Phillip....

Not being able to speak any English and not being able to drive, she stayed at home raising her eight children, ran a
household of ten and managed to learn the basics of English well enough to be able to spell and write her childrens names.
She lived in Houston near the museum district from 1970 - 2008. She then moved to Katy to live with her son,
Joe to recover from a hip injury which is where she lived until she was called home by her LORD AND SAVIOR.
She was a devout Christian with an enormous faith in GOD. She attended Grace Chapel Church for many of her early years in Houston.
She leaves behind: Kai Kong and wife Virginia Yee, Ronald and wife Barbara Yee, Larry and wife Dorothy Yee, Joe Yee, John and wife Jenny Yee, Steven and
wife Mary Yee, David Yee and Sandra and husband Sam Cornelius.
Grandchildren: Mackenzie Yee, Brittney Yee, Erin Yee, John David Yee, Kristen Yee, Christopher Yee, Matthew Yee and Kailee
Yee. Great grand-children: Aaron and Amory Stuckey.
