Christine Trevino

Christine Trevino, born July 29, 1935 passed away May 20, 2014. She will be greatly missed by her daughters, Gloria Lopez and husband Manuel, Elizabeth Garcia and husband Alfonso, Lucy Cardenas Padilla and husband Eslifonso, Sonia Trevino; grandchildren, Manuela Lopez, Rosalinda Lee, Jesse Lopez, Manuel Lopez Jr., Alfonso Garcia Jr., Michael Garcia, Marilyn Castillo, Janie Guajardo, Sonia Trevino, Nicole Padilla, Jennifer Trevino, Serena Padilla; great grandchildren Thomas Rey Hernandez, Juliana Nicole Hernandez, Christopher Lopez, Mariah Lopez, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Marissa Rodriguez, Jesse Lopez Jr., Pauline Garcia, Anthony Garcia, Selena Garcia, Victoria Garcia, Armando Santillan, Erica Santillan, Kane Castillo, Eliahs Castillo, Elizabeth Guajardo, Julian Guajardo; sisters, Hermina Flores, Katie Norris, Gumecindo Jasso, Refugia Jasso, Margie Medrano, Sandy Garrett and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended relatives and friends.

Christine was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. As life happened, good and bad, she remained humble, jubilant, and selfless. Christine was never seen without a smile, and never failed to put a smile on someone else’s face. She never met a stranger and wanted to be loved by all. Her family knows this isn’t a goodbye but a “see you later alligator “.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Brookside Funeral Home with a vigil service to begin at 7:30 pm. Funeral Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm Friday, May 23, 2014 at Brookside Funeral Home Grand Chapel with interment to follow in Morales Cemetery, Houston TX.
