Christensen Marcus Keith Hill

Christensen was blessed as a baby by Pastor D.Z. Cofield at Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church at an early age, December 2000.

Christensen was very active in church at a young age in which he attended Sunday School, played on the youth basketball team and sang in the youth choir. He was later baptized by his uncle, Rev. Andre’ Johnson at Fellowship of Believers Baptist Church, along with his cousin, Drake, at the age of 6. Christensen was active in FOBBC’s youth ministry and always enjoyed participating in Easter and Christmas programs and youth events. Christensen loved sports and was excited when he began playing football for the Pearland Texans football team along with his cousin Drake. He established long lasting relationships and friendships from his Pearland Texans teammates and family. He went on to continue playing football in junior high and at Jeff Davis High School, Madison High School and Blinn College. Christensen also loved playing basketball. He really loved being coached by his grandfather, Charlie Rockemore at the West Orem YMCA.

Christensen attended Yellowstone Academy from Pre- K and 5th grade. He attended Young Men Preparatory and then moved on to Jeff Davis High School. He later transferred to Madison High School and graduated from there in 2019 and then studied at Blinn College for two years.

Preceded him in death are his parents, Takisha Rockemore and Christian Hill and great-grandparents Charlie and Brunette Johnson and Nancy Whitley, JD Roquemore; aunts Windell Johnson and Alice Johnson and great uncle Timothy Thompson.

Christensen leaves behind his beloved dog Bleu Hill; sister Kristian Rockemore; brothers Nigel Hill and Dylan Hill; nephew Christian Rockemore; niece Aurelia

Mercadal; grandparents Charlie & Loretta Rockemore and Keith & Laurette Hill; uncle Andre’ Johnson and aunt Jan Johnson; great aunts Birdie Jean Shorts, Dorothy Mack, Wilma Collier, Gloria Johnson, Rosemary Thompson and Glenda Wiggins, along with a host of cousins and friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.
