Chester Talmadge Walker

Chester is survived by his wife, Mildred “Mimi” Walker. He was a proud father of his children Jennifer Walker Farber (Allon), Andy Walker (Rosemary), and Kimberly Bonewald (Ricky). He adored his grandchildren Micayla Farber, Samantha Walker, Andrew Walker, Megan Walker, and Kaitlin Stubbs, and his great-grandchild, William Pohorence. He is also survived by his siblings Cynthia Dronyk, Calvin Walker, and Charles Walker.

Chester’s keen sense of humor, bright smile, and incredible generosity will be missed by those who hold him dear. His love for his family was deep and he found great joy in being a “Gramps”. When Chester was not with his family, he could be found at work, his favorite place, where he enjoyed spending time with his work family. Prior to his stroke, he enjoyed playing golf and taking trips to Vegas. He also loved poker, old Western movies, and 50s music. Chester loved and adored his many pets throughout the years, especially his dog, Rainy.

There will be a private burial service. Please join us in celebrating Chester’s life at a reception at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, Monday, November 21st at 12 pm. As an alternative to flowers, please consider memorial contributions to the American Stroke Association or your favorite animal charity.
