Cherilyn Ann Moore

Cheryl was born January 31, 1972, in Pasadena, Texas to her devoted parents, Dallas and Carol Tackitt. She was a graduate of Sam Rayburn High School and was a student of nursing at Alvin Community College.

Soon after, she pursued a career of acting and set out for Hollywood as Cherilyn Moore. In a span of 5 years, she landed many acting roles including recurring appearances on the Jamie Foxx Show. She was a member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG-AFTRA).

Later in life she returned home, and her passions became her family, a doting aunt to her two nephews, her friends and champion of animal rescue, where she welcomed several animals into her life.

Cheryl is preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert and Irene Tackitt and Louis and Pauline Zabawa.

She is survived by her parents Dallas and Carol Tackitt; sister Kristy Tackitt- Leesekamp; brother-in-law John Leesekamp; nephews Aidan and Austin Leesekamp; 1 uncle; 2 aunts; twelve cousins and a myriad of friends who loved her dearly.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, December 29 at 11:30 AM at Earthman Funeral Home, 8303 Katy Freeway in Houston, followed by the burial at Grand View Memorial Park at 8501 Spencer Highway in Pasadena.
