Charles Harold Starnes

Charles has two sons, Charles Jr. and Michael. He was a truck driver for many years and could skillfully drive 18 Wheelers, Cement Trucks. As well as heavy construction equipment such as a Bulldozer, Backhoe, Forklift, and many more. He will be dearly missed and remembered for his zest for life. He loved spending time with family and friends. He also loved fishing and dancing. He was a good fisherman and loving uncle. Charles was truly kind hearted man.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents, James Chilton and Grace Starnes; and son, Charles Jr.

He is survived by his son, Michael; brother Clyde; sister Wanda; nephew, Chad; nieces, Krystal, Kimberley, Karen, and Julie; great nephew, Drew; great nieces, Kaylee, Kallie, Anna, and Cate; along with numerous cousins. Although Charles was not a grandfather biologically, he had a special role in raising his great nieces Kaylee and Kallie.

A visitation for Charles will be held Friday, April 26, 2024 from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039, followed by a graveside service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
