Charles Julius “C. J.” Pecht, born November 15, 1923 to Edmund and Josie Pecht in Houston, Texas, passed away February 2, 2013 in Houston. Charles was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Jack and Leroy Pecht. He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Velma G. Pecht; sisters, Vernell Turner and Vonnie Adair and husband, Billy; brothers, S. L. Pecht and wife, Faye, Rev. Vernon Pecht, and Rev. Virgil Pecht, and by numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Mr. Pecht served his country proudly in the Army during WWII.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. till 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 5, 2013 in the Chapel of Heights Funeral Home, where the funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Brookside Memorial Park, Houston, Texas.
