Charles Arthur McCleary, 78 entered into rest on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 in Houston. He entered into life on July 28, 1933 to Bill McCleary and Esther Brown in Purdon, Texas. Charles McCleary will be remembered by his family and friends for his charismatic personality, jovial smile, sparkling eyes and his quick wit. He was one of the funniest people you would ever meet. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, being around his family, gambling and fishing. He is reunited with his father, Bill McCleary; stepfather, Sidney Tinker and sister, Martha Ann Adams. He leaves to continue his legacy of life and love, wife, Eleanor McCleary; daughter, Carrie McCleary and husband Charles Mikulas; mother, Esther Baker; two grandchildren, Logan Charles Mikulas and Fairyn Mikulas; aunt, Harriett Ray; nieces and nephews, Lisa May and husband Robert, Mark Mattern and wife Lisa, Mike Adams and wife Flo, David Adams and wife Linda and Jean Tomei and husband James and numerous other relatives and dear friends. You may visit Charles on Friday, July 6, 2012 from 4:00-9:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Pat H. Foley & Company. A Celebration of Charles’s life will be Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Garden Oaks Baptist Church, 3206 N. Shepherd Dr., 77018. He will be laid to rest at Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
