Charles Ewing Lodge, newborn son of Alice and J.W. Lodge, passed away peacefully in the arms of his parents on Sunday, the 7th of October 2018. He was adored by all who met him, and he only knew love in his short life.
In addition to his parents, Charlie is survived by his brother Will; grandparents Ellen and Bill Gutermuth, and John Lodge; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. His late grandmother, Janet Lodge, will welcome him to heaven with open arms and cradle him until we meet again.
The funeral mass is to be celebrated at ten o’clock in the morning on Friday, the 12th of October, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 1801 Sage Road in Houston. Immediately following, all are invited to greet the family during a reception to be held in the Parish Life Center.
At a later time, the family will gather for a private interment at Glenwood Cemetery in Houston.
