Darrell was my best friend when I was at St. Thomas. I pray for him every Sunday at mass.

This is Carol, Darrell's step-mom's (Gloria) sister.  I remember Darrell and his sister Carol when they used to visit his dad and my sister when we all were very young.  We would get into water hose fights.  Precious memories.  His brothers, Charles Thomas (Tommy)Kerr, Marc Kerr and Scott Kerr all send their condolences.  If we had known he was ill or of his passing, we would have been there.  RIP Darrell...And my God hold the hands of your loved ones during this trial of their faith.

darrell was my roomate in the air force in myrtle beach and luke in phoenix. i called him charley we traveled together from myrtle to phoenix. he was like my big brother and a dear friend.  i visited him in houston in 1968. i have air force pictures of him with cook whites.  he was the fastest white man i have ever seen what a football player.  i met his sister and had a crush.  darrell was 1 year older than me ironicall i had a heart attack 2 weeks after he passed away.  i will remember him for the rest of my life.  tom hamilton  aworth ga.  678 898 0510 cell phone

I just heard; otherwise I would have been at the funeral.  Darrell was a dear friend to my father, Porter.  There are not words to express what a priceless gift Darrell was to me and my family.  Nixie; may God's loving arms wrap around you now and comfort you.  You were the love of Darrell's life.  I'm sure he and Daddy are together again; hanging out and having a great time.  Love to you and your family.

I was shocked to read about Darrell's passing.  It seems like only yesterday that we were playing during recess at St. Anne's.  My heartfelt condolences to his wife, children and mother.  You will all be in my prayers.  "Time, oh good, good time, where did you go?"

Aunt Dorothy, Carol and Nixie, so sorry to hear of the passing of Darrell. I have so many memories of the twins when they were babies and lived with us on Mason Street. Bettie and I had "live dolls" to play with and did we ever love dressing them up.All of you are in our thoughts and prayers. May your fond memories and the love of family and friends sustain you at this sorrowful time.

I havent seen Daarrell for years. He was a great guy an excellent athlete and a whole lot of fun. My prayers go out to him and his family

I have only recently gotten to know Darrell over the past 2 years.  We all had fun together at different family celebrations.  He was always laughing and had a smile on his face.  You are in my prayers and I will pray for all those left behind.

So very sorry to hear about Charles Darrell's passing.  I go back a long way with the family, when I shared a house on Portsmouth Street in Houston with mother Dorothy and her bratty but loveable twins, Darrell and Carol.  I still have, and cherish, photos from those days.  My condolences to all the family.

My heart is heavy with the loss of one of my favorite cousins.  I was never in Darrell's presence that he didn't have a kind word(s) to say, including the last time I saw him, at Daddy's funeral in February of this year.  If my memory serves me correctly, Darrell was one of 21 grandchildren born to Mama & Daddy Jones & the third to pass on.  He will be greatly missed by those
 who knew & loved him.  My thoughts & prayers especially go out to Nixie, Aunt Dorothy & Carol, along with his immediate family, at this sorrowful time.  Love to all, Deborah Jones Fritz & family
