Charles Edward Glover was born on June 14, 1951 in Como, Mississippi to the late Lula B Glover. He was reared by his grandparents Ozene & Roena Glover in Coldwater, Mississippi. He professed a hope in Christ at an early age and was baptized at Second Baptist MB Church under the leadership of Reverend S.W. Gathing. During Charles's young adult life he moved to Houston, Texas where he worked construction for a number of years. He later exercised his entrepreneurial skills and established The Glover House, a group home for mentally challenged patients, as well as operating his own lawn service, both of which continued to thrive until his recent passing. Charles is survived by a son, Marcus Todd of Worms, Germany, two daughters Carmen and Seciely Rape' of Houston, Texas, three brothers Kenneth, Steven and Patrick Gaunty of Chicago, Illinois, six grandchildren, one Aunt Lizzie Glover of Como, Mississippi, a special friend Ms. Marcia Galloway Bazile and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends to cherish his memories.
