Charles Ray Gibbs, 78, entered into eternal rest on January 29, 2015 and joined his wife, Frances Reynolds. Charley was a very caring father of his two sons: David and Johnny, throughout their childhood and their continuous lives. He was very caring to his family, father and mother, his brothers: Buddy, Billy and Leonard, also his sisters: Gloria, Martha Faye "Tootsie" and Mary Lynn. He was always available when anyone needed assistance in doing anything, not only family but friends sometimes even strangers.
He is survived by his sons: David & wife Jocelyn, Johnny & wife Alicia; grandson, Ryan "J.R." Gibbs; great-granddaughter, Katelyn Gibbs; sister, Mary Lynn Berryman & husband Charles; numerous nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be from 1PM until the start of the service at 2PM on Monday, February 2nd at Brookside Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
