Charley, to this day whenever I see Milwaukees  Best Light in the cooler of the corner store I think of you and all those good times having many of those on our visits, I do charish the good memories. Rest in peace Charley,  and thank you for all that you did for me and Denice.

My dear sweet Charlie - 
I still cry everyday for you.  Did you hear me as you passed?  I always wanted you to know that my life without you would have no meaning.  Now, that statement has been confirmed. I often think back on our times with so many friends, company and parties.  Our house was such a happy place.  You and I individually had so many people in our lives; we were truly blessed.  I sometimes wonder how it is that I have been left behind and lonely.  

I have a few more things to finalize and at that point I hope you come for me.  Just the hope of being beside you again gives me pleasure.

40 years of memories ....on the road, the three of us, Charlie,me and Jack Daniels......in his pool, hottub, pool, hottub in Mission Viejo, the "Ball Clock", ...the Bear trap at the office in Anaheim....calling Beverly in the middle of her night.....watching him play sock with Otie Doe.....the smile on his face when Beverly baked him "Dipsy Doodles" (his name for snicker doodles)for his birthday.....him thanking me for sending back the packing (old tape,string and newspapers) from something he sent me......loved his dry humor....if you looked up "a good friend" in the dictionary there would be a picture of my friend Charlie.........Larry O

I have only known Charlie & Susan for a year now while planning their new home but it has been very eventful!  Susan with her details and mounds of paper from over the years, and Charlie with his quiet self pretending to be in the back but listening very attentively to every detail.  I loved watching how much he loved and respected his Susan....his gentle smile from 'afar'.  I will miss sharing this future experience with Charlie but he knows he has left it in good hands with 'the chief'!  Enjoy heaven, Charlie, and we'll all see you someday in the future.

It is so very difficult to describe the void I feel since I found out about Charlie's passing.  Charlie was one of my best friends, and I will never forget him, and all the good times we had over many years.
