Charles Curtis Eppler "Grandpa", 84 of Houston, TX passed away October 29, 2015. Charles was surrounded by his loving daughter Karen and grandchildren, Kerri and Kevin. Charles was born in Waldron, Arkansas on July 9, 1931. He was drafted into the Army during the Korean War in 1952. Preceded in death by his parents, Selmer Curtis and Nola Sarah "Dolly" Eppler and son Charles Gene Eppler and sister Jo Ann. Charles is survived by one daughter; Karen Eppler of Cypress, Texas along with two grandchildren Kerri Hedspeth and husband Steven of Houston, Texas; Kevin Perez and wife Diana of Humble, Texas, 9 great grandchildren; Ricky Jr., Kevin Jr., Matthew, Peyton, Kirsten, Soraia, Willie III, Ashley and Kalyn, 4 great great grand children; Aniya, Ricky III, Kylie and Amauri, four brothers Cecil Verdell, William Lee "Dub", John Wiley, Gary Neal and sister Nola Jean, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Charles was a loving father and grandfather who will be dearly missed.
