Charles Cummings Brown

Charles Cummings Brown at age 80, passed away on June 6, 2011 in Cedar Park, Texas. Born in April 1931 in Houston Texas to Edith and Wesley Brown, Charles lived in the Heights area of Houston. He graduated from Reagan High School and the University of Houston and served 2 years of active duty in the United States Army. He then worked 30 years for Ford Motor Company and in 2008 he moved to Cedar Park in the Austin area.

Charles is survived by his wife of 59 years, Kathryn; sons Charles of Kerrville and Russell and wife, Mary, of Austin; grandchildren Jacob, Kayla, Laurel and sister, Carolyn Mason.

Hobbies enjoyed were Model A Fords and other antique cars, traveling, being with family and friends and his Lake Austin home.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2011 from 5 - 7 pm at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be at 10 am on Friday, June 10, 2011 at Forest Park Lawndale followed by interment in the Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
