Charles Monroe Brown

He was born in Houston, Texas on January 2, 1951. He was married to Joanne Brown for 39 years. Charles worked as a painter for New Caney ISD and retired after 20 years of service. He had a passion for gardening, fishing, and grilling.

He was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Ruth Brown, sisters: Alice LaVerne Bayer, Mary Ann Lewellyn, Dorothy Louise Jackson, and children Charles Brown, Jr., and Tammy Hobbs. He was survived by his children Mary Clow, Amy Keen, Kim Brown, Cory Gamez, Steven Dresel. Grandchildren: Matthew Clow, Zoe Lunsford, Keenan Brown, Haley Brown, Emily Brown, Cheyenne Brown, Ashley Norvel, Kaylie Lewis, Joey Traver, Stephanie Tarver, Destiny Kelly, Danielle Koenig, and 9 great Grandchildren. Brother: Doug Brown, Sister: Martha Strader and Doris Adams.

A visitation for Charles will be held Wednesday, April 12, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Earthman Resthaven, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, April 12, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A committal service will occur Wednesday, April 12, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Brookside Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Fwy, Houston, TX 77039.
