Charity Dawn Freeman, 26, Of Atascocita, Texas suddenly departed this life on January 20, 2025. She was born in Orange, Texas on December 8, 1998, to parents Michael Alvin Freeman and Amanda Clark Howard.
Charity graduated from Premier High School of Dayton in 2016. After High School Charity furthered her education at Lamar State College of Orange where she obtained her certification and became a Certified Nurse Assistant. Charity had a fulfilling career in healthcare focusing on hospice care for the past 8 years. Charity was a member of Grace Church of Humble, under the leadership of Pastor Brett Jones.
Outside of her career, Charity had a passion for dancing, music, fitness, and enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends, especially her 2 babies who were her reasons to live. Charity was a caring and compassionate, very loving person with a heart full of gold. Her luminous smile would light up the entire room and her laughter was infectious. Although at times she was very fisty, and could have a very competitive spirit, Charity was very open and trusting to all who she encountered. Charity will be missed by all who she touched during her lifetime.
Charity is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Hilda Ann Cantone, Vincent John Cantone; paternal grandfather, Alvin Loyd Freeman; her best friend, Travon “Trey” Parks; and friend, Alejandro “AJ” Suarez.
Charity’s memory will forever be cherished by her children: Ezra and Lucca Torres, Parents: Amanda and Curtis Howard Sr., Michael and Susan Freeman. Siblings: Jenny Garza and Spouse Blas, Cody Freeman, Angela “Gracee” Freeman and Spouse Tarri, Patsy Freeman and Fiancé Tevin Randle, Blair Howard, Ingrid “Jade” Howard, Erica Eaglin, Curtis Howard Jr., Kristian Freeman, and Nicholas Freeman. Other family members include 23 nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Thank you to all who have showered the family with your prayers, love and condolences. We are honored to know that Charity touched so many lives in the short time God lent her to us. You are all forever our family and thank you for your support through this difficult time.

A visitation for Charity will be held Monday, January 27, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A viewing will occur Tuesday, January 28, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Grace Church of Humble, 7224 N Sam Houston Pkwy E, Humble, Texas 77396. A celebration of life will occur Tuesday, January 28, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Grace Church of Humble, 7224 N Sam Houston Pkwy E, Humble, Texas 77396. A committal service will occur Tuesday, January 28, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039.
