Cecelia Annie Zientek, 100, of Houston, Texas passed away on May 20, 2015. She was born on April 2, 1915 in Chappell Hill, Texas to parents, Tony and Annie (Tomkowiak) Nowak. She married Max J. Zientek on October 12, 1940. She has been a resident of the Houston Heights community since 1942 and a parishioner of Christ the King Catholic Church since 1942. She was an avid bingo player and loved playing slots at the casino. She was a homemaker and mother for over 74 years and will be dearly missed.
Cecelia is preceded in death by her husband, Max J. Zientek; parents, Tony and Annie Nowak; and five brothers, one sister, and one great-grandson
She is survived by her two sons, Emric E. Zientek and wife, Kathy and Clement Zientek and wife, Karen; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held form 5-8pm, with a rosary service at 7pm, Monday, May 25, 2015 at Pat H. Foley & Company Funeral Home. Mass will be held at 10am, Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 4419 N. Main. Interment will follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Chappell Hill, Texas.
