Cathy F Stallworth

Catherine Faye (Katie) Stallworth 63 of Cypress Texas passed away in her home surrounded by her family on December 28th. Katie as she was best known by family and friends was born in Corpus Christi Texas on January 7,1959 to Angie Faye Hodge and Eugene W Hodge. She attended Mary Carrol High School and Del Mar College.

Katie married Michael Stallworth, and together raised her daughter Lee. Katie worked a full career as regional multi-family property manager, and had special talent for gardening, she also enjoyed taking neighborhood walks and shopping. Katie was a proud, loving, grandparent to her 3 grandchildren, and loved having late night talks with her daughter about them.

Katie is survived by her husband Michael Stallworth of 31 years, daughter Lee , and son-in-law Shelby (Randy) Haizlip, grandchildren Marcus Damion Haizlip, Taylor Ann Haizlip , and Michael Randolph Haizlip, and was predeceased by her grandparents Bryan and Bonnie Wingo, parents Eugene W Hodge, Angie Faye Hodge, sister Kelley Wingo (Hodge) Grant ,and her Aunt Josephine Raye (Wingo) Dorsey. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Memorial services will be held at The Foundry Church 10203 Fry Rd, Cypress, TX 77433 on January 13, 2023 at 11 a.m. There will be a reception held at the Haizlip’s home after for those who wish to celebrate her life with family
