Catherine Mary Walsh
August 1, 1947 – May 9, 2024
IN THE CARE OF
At the age of 76, Catherine Walsh passed away peacefully at her home on May 8, 2024. She was born on August 1, 1947 to Raymond & Mary Walsh in New York.
Eventually the family settled in Oklahoma where Catherine attended Putam City High School. Her education continued at the University of Oklahoma where she accomplished a degree in nursing. Catherine specialized in wound care, making a career with Ben Taub Hospital and UTMB Health. She was also a Wound Care Nurse Educator at Addecco/Convatec.
Catherine spent her life providing healthcare and comfort to all of her patients. In addition, she was an avid dog lover.
Left to cherish Catherine’s memory is her sister, Melody Kendall of Apex, NC; and brother, Wayne Walsh of Benton, AR.
Entombment for Catherine Walsh will take place on May 30, 2024 at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home & Cemetery, at 10 AM.
