Catherine Ann Marino

She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her sisters Julia Marino & Lucille Fendley, Niece, Brooke Fendley, Nephew, Hunter Fendley and wife, Melissa.

Cate graduated from Reagan High school in 1965. She was a hair stylist and loved her work for over 14 years. Her career and passion was being a great hair stylist. In her last five years of practicing, she worked at Andres in Highland Village and was one of their top stylists. In her younger years, she traveled, won numerous awards for her excellence in hair coloring and styling and was an avid reader. She loved the Lord and was a devout Christian. She also loved music (Including Elvis, Frank Sinatra, Dean Marin and Country Music), dancing and makeup.

Cate had the sweetest disposition with relatives who gathered, making coffee and being the perfect hostess. She was always giving compliments, even in recent days! Cate was a beautiful woman, inside and out, many said she looked like Sophia Loren (she always thought she looked more like Liz Taylor).

Visitation will be Thursday, June 22nd from 5-8PM, Rosary at 7PM in The Hunters Creek Chapel at Earthman Funeral Directors, 8303 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77024. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 23rd at 11:00AM at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 3600 Brinkman St, Houston, TX 77018.
