Carroll Eugene Adams

On Friday, July 27, 2012 Carroll Eugene Adams continued on the path that God had designed for him to enter "The Kingdom". Carroll Eugene Adams, known as "Eugene/Gene", was the first child born October 22, 1950 to Theodore and Catherine Adams. As a curious young boy in Maryland, Eugene was very involved in Boy Scouts and sports. Eugene's pursuit of public education led him to Central Consolidated School and eventual graduation from Edgewood High School. Gene entered the United States Air Force shortly after completing high school. He matured and his intellectual pursuits, while in the Air Force, equipped him to become an expert in aircraft engine maintenance. His demonstrated skills were recognized by major aircraft companies and he was sent abroad as a supervisor managing aircraft engine maintenance teams. Gene earned his Bachelor of Science Degree (Troy State University), a Master of Science Degree in Psychology (Pepperdine University) and a Master's Degree in Business Administration (Cal Baptist University). He also became a 32nd Degree Mason in the F & AM Masonic Lodge 364. November 22, 1980 Gene married the love of his life Sarah L. Abram and began his spiritual growth. This included loving and nurturing many sons and daughters. He was first ordained as a deacon at Greater Peace B. C. Ft Walton Beach, FL. Gene served as a deacon and youth leader at churches in St. Louis, MO (New Sunny Mount), La Puente, CA (St. Stephens B. C.) and was recently elevated to Elder at his current home church Community of Faith Church in Houston, TX. His divine assignment and joy was the youth with special emphasis on the developmental needs of 7th and 8th grade boys. A man of integrity and character, he took on fathering and mentoring roles and left a spiritual inheritance for all those who knew him. Remembering him as a man with a solid foundation in the Lord Jesus Christ, it is now time for those who knew him to keep his legacy alive. Gene's legacy will remain alive through his wife Sarah Lena Adams; father Theodore Adams, mother Catherine Adams, daughters Tera Mechelle Hardy(Craig), Ren'ia Harrison, Sylvia Conway: and Sons - Carroll Eugene Adams II; and Nicholas Adams. Godchildren: Jabrecia Jones, Erica Matthews and Kylin Satcher. Grandchildren - Tiara Blocker, Tyra Hardy, Takira Hardy, Tanniah Hardy, Munerisham Adams, Qeandre Adams, Tania Adams, Deschaun Adams, Teman Harrison, Devas Smith-Hornbeak. Great Grandchild - Taya Beasley, Aunts; Francis Macon, Jennie Stephens, Cora Adams, Gloria Adams and Doris Buck (Yacht).
