Today is October 24th, 2015. I use to live next door to Carolyn when I was growing up since I was 6 then I moved. Carolyn was a huge impact to my life and childhood memories. I use to hangout with her all the time in her garage. She would give me books, games, toys and anything else you could imagine. During my childhood she was my best friend. I knew her daughter, her grandson was a baby at the time and i remember she would always take care of him. We would play together outside. I always reference to my friends and family as well that her daughter took a picture of me when I was about four peeking through the fence into Miss Carolyn's backyard, she kept this photograph in her garage. When I finally got to go back to Houston last month, it worried me to know that she wasn't living there any longer. Until last night, I had a dream that Miss Carolyn passed away. So when I woke up, i immediately decided to look up her name and see if there was anyway i could contact her. And then, I found this horrific news. 

To Miss Carolyn, I'm sorry I was too late to ever thank you for all the things you ever did for me. I grew up to be just fine, I'm on my way to nursing school now. I think you'd be very proud of me. You made one of the greatest impacts in my life. You had a great soul and one day I will make some childs childhood just as you did mine. I truly thank you.

To the daughter of Miss Carolyn, if you can please contact me I couldn't find any other way to find you and you, your mom, and son have never left my mind. I hope your doing okay. And I'm sorry for you and your family's loss. Hope to speak with you soon.
