Carolyn J. Cooper

Carolyn J. Cooper, age 79, of Houston, Texas passed away on Monday, August 1, 2022. Carolyn was born in East Palestine on May 21, 1943 to parents Elizabeth and Alfred Willard (Pete) Hill. She met the love of her life James Cooper in Austin Texas and married on May 21. Carolyn worked at Graphics and Signs as a Bookkeeper from 1976 to 2009. She had a great passion for puzzles she especially enjoyed crossword puzzles.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband James Fredrick Cooper; son, Rene S. Cooper; grandson, Austin Ray Haecker, and her siblings.

Carolyn is survived by Debbie Haecker (husband Russell), James F. Cooper III (wife Dora), Russell R. Cooper, Deborah Cooper, Richard W. Cooper (wife Susan); grand children Dawn L. Miller, Brandi Shipman, Heather Brant (Jarret), Shannon Brest (Dale), Rebekah McCary (Jordan), Angela M. Cooper, Desiree Rosell (Steven), James F. Cooper IV (Scorro), Nicole Cooper (Juan), Kenneth Klesel, Bryan Cooper, Shaun D. Cooper, Alan Cooper, Margarito Soriano, Destiny R. Cooper, Adam W. Cooper (Kelsey); along with numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

A visitation for Carolyn will be held Friday, August 5, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039, followed by a memorial service from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
