Caroline, affectionately known as Carol, was born on March 23, 1963, on the island of Trinidad, to Yvonne Josephine Haynes and Roderick Jefferson Haynes. She spent her early years in Trinidad before moving to the United States. Carol pursued her education, attending Ross S. Sterling in Baytown, Texas and Keene College in Keene, Texas.
With a passion for beauty and aesthetics, Carol became a licensed Cosmetologist and worked in billing, where she brought joy to those she served with her warmth and professionalism.
Carol was a beloved member of her family, known for her pillar of strength and boundless love. Among her seven siblings - Burt, Gary, Cheryl, Larry, Shem, Andy, and Andrae - who held a special place in her heart. Fond memories with Gary filled her heart with joy, and she often reminisced about their shared experiences. Carol took pride in looking after her younger brother Shem during their school years, a testament to her caring nature and protective spirit.
As a devoted mother, Carol leaves behind a legacy of love through her three children: Simone, Simon, and Steven Jr. (Pepe). She was also a dedicated grandmother to six grandchildren, whom she adored and cherished: Caeleb, Caeson, Leiah, Caeden, Khari, and Kharson. Carol is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will dearly miss her presence.
Known for her vibrant spirit and infectious smile, Carol lit up every room she entered. She possessed an unwavering strength that inspired all who knew her. Carol found great joy in the simple pleasures of life, like getting her hair and nails done and adorning herself in beautiful dresses.
Carol will be commemorated as the petite yet powerful life of the party, spreading joy and laughter to everyone fortunate enough to cross paths with her. The impact of her kindness, love, and laughter will be eternally cherished in the hearts of those she touched.
A celebration of Carol's life will be held to honor her memory and the impact she made on all who knew her. She may be gone from our sight, but her love will continue to guide us always.
