Carol B. Van Fleet, born September 26, 1935 to Henry and Mary Striebeck in Houston, Texas, passed away March 29, 2013 in Conroe, Texas. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, and is survived by son, Scott C. Van Fleet and wife, Bridget; grandchildren, Nicole Moss and husband, Richard, Christian Van Fleet, Jacob Van Fleet, and Lynzie Van Fleet; cousins, Linda Gray and JoAnn Weaver, and by other extended family and friends.
Carol retired from Southwestern Bell after 30 years of service. When her health allowed, she was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church in Houston, Texas.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at Heights Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 4, 2013 in the Chapel of Heights Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, Houston, Texas.
