Carol A. Peterson

Carol Ann Peterson passed away peacefully on May 25, 2021 at the age of 68 after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest. Carol (aka Pidge) was born on November 7, 1952 in Philadelphia, PA to the William and Joan (McNulty) Mullen. She married her husband of 42 years, Keith S. Peterson on September 29, 1978. They raised two wonderful children, Shaun and Megan.

She was a devoted stay-at-home mother then began her career at the State Bar of Michigan until she retired in 2018. She was known for her sense of humor, her kind soul, and her love for her grandchildren.

Carol was preceded in death by her father, William, and her mother, Joan. She is survived by her husband Keith, her two children, Shaun (Trish) Peterson and Megan Peterson, her two step-children, Blane (Kari) Peterson and Mark (Stacia) Peterson, her two brothers, Bill (Jane) Mullen and Dan (Debbie) Mullen, her four sisters, Jill Creati, Mary (Chuck) Kowalski, Joan (Rob) Spering, and Mindy (Bob) Rudick, and her seven grandchildren, Dillon, Cody, Carly, Annika, Liam, Ian (aka Bird), and Madelyn (aka Maddy).
