Carmen Tamayo Born: June 10, 1959 Carmen Tamayo passed away at home Friday, May 27, 2016 after a lengthy illness. She was surrounded by her family at the time of her passing. She is the daughter of Jesus and Carmen Tamayo. She was born in Houston, TX and went to grade school at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic School and attended high school at Incarnate Word Academy. She is preceded in death by her father and mother and survived by her sisters, Esther Tamayo Vasquez and her husband Lupe, Rose Tamayo Kleczynski and her husband Richard; her brothers, Jesus Tamayo and his wife, Ana, Raul Tamayo and his wife Maria and David Tamayo and his wife María Elena. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Carmen was a devout Catholic and attended St. Joseph Catholic Church. She worked Southwestern Bell and MD Anderson Cancer Center for many years. She loved to read and was an avid baseball fan.
