Carmelina Conte Conte Hansen

Carmelina Conte Hansen was born in Houston, Texas on January 12, 1913; she passed away peacefully on February 22, 2012 at the age of 99. She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Mr. Knud Hansen of Randers, Denmark; as well as her brothers, Raphael Conte, Nunzio Conte, Anthony Conte; and daughter, Tommie Leine Walker. She is survived by her sisters, Rosena Lupoli, Frances Navarro; son, Raphael Hansen; grandchildren David Edwards, Jason Edwards, Kelly Hansen, Patrick Hansen; and several great-grandchildren. She was a remarkable woman, full of life and loved by so many that called her “Aunt Lena”. Many thanks to her caregivers and the staff at Seven Acres for their attentive care. A service to celebrate Carmelina’s life will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, February 27th at the chapel of Pat H. Foley & Co. Interment will follow at Historic Hollywood Cemetery.
