Carly Beaman Smith

Active in Future Farmers of America, Carly raised 3 goats and 1 pig, fueling her dream of attending Texas Tech University and one day becoming an Agricultural Educator. A person of deep faith, Carly attended primary school at Clay Road Baptist School and was a life-long, active member of Second Baptist Church, where she previously served in the Children’s Ministry.

She is survived by her parents, Jack and Karen Smith; her brother and sister, Steven Smith and Janna Webber; her brother-in-law, David Webber; her niece and second sister, Stephanie Smith; her aunts and uncles, Peggy and Ed Pyle, and Lisa and Carl Cobena; her cousin and close friend, Christopher Cobena. Carly was a beloved aunt to Quinn and Kate Charlton and Teagan Smith.

A visitation with the family will be on Thursday, May 2, 2013, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. in the Allen Room at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Freeway.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 3, 2013, at 11:00 A.M. in the Hankamer Chapel of Second Baptist Church, 6400 Woodway, with Rev. Brad Goad officiating. Immediately following, all are invited to greet the family during a reception to be held in the Deacons Room.

Graveside service and interment will be held at 2:30 P.M. at South Park Cemetery in Pearland, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Children’s Ministry of Second Baptist Church.
