Javi came into the world on June 2nd, 1998, right in Houston, TX. His parents, Victorina Umanzor and Florentin Sanchez, were overjoyed by his arrival. Growing up, Javi attended MacArthur High School, and the year 2017 marked a special milestone as he proudly donned his graduation cap. Throughout his high school years, basketball was his passion, and he eagerly participated in tryouts, showcasing his skills on the court and earning a spot on the team each year.
As he stepped into the world beyond high school, new horizons beckoned. Javi's journey led him to Allstate Signal & Construction, where he embarked on a role as a supervisor. This professional path was not only a source of personal growth but also an opportunity to share experiences with his elder brother, someone he greatly admired. Amid the various responsibilities that came with his position, it was working with fiber optics that truly ignited his enthusiasm and brought out his best.
In the precious moments we spent with Javi, his multifaceted nature shone brightly. There was the side of him that embraced adventure with open arms, fearlessly diving into new experiences. On the basketball court, he wasn't just a player but a true enthusiast, embodying the spirit of the game. His sense of fashion was impeccable, effortlessly exuding his unique style. And in the realm of work, his dedication and industriousness were evident, making his mark in every task he undertook. Yet, amongst these myriad aspects of Javi, it was his role as a loving son, brother and devoted uncle that resonated most deeply. His caring nature, his warmth, and his ability to foster connections were what endeared him to us the most. The tapestry of Javi's life may have been woven with various threads, but it's the threads of love, family, and compassion that remain etched in our hearts.
