Mr. Carlos T. Romero

Born on January 01, 1952, to Juana C. Benitez and Francisco Romero. Carlos was well known as being highly skilled in many trades with a deep passion for cars. He married his high school sweetheart after fate brought them back together and they proudly raised their two children together, whom he referred to as his pride and joy.

He is survived by his devoted wife of over 40 years, Daisy Romero; son Nelson and daughter-in-law Jessica; daughter Evelyn and son-in-law Daniel; grandchildren Garrett and Harper; and his cherished pets.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Marcos Benitez and Leonarda Alvares; and his mother, Juana C. Benitez, who passed shortly after him.  

Carlos was a dedicated father and husband with a heart of gold. He enjoyed nature, music, and caring for animals but nothing came close to his love for soccer. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family and all who knew him.

A visitation for Carlos will be held Sunday, July 31, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077. A funeral service will occur Monday, August 1, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077. A graveside service will occur Monday, August 1, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077.
