Carlos H. Ramon

Carlos was born in Alice, TX on November 16, 1954, to Juan and Eloisa Ramon. Carlos attended Milby High School and was loved by many in his Manchester community. He was a long-time parishioner at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Carlos worked many years in construction and later as an independent contractor specializing in painting and drywall. He taught many friends and his daughter, Lucy, this skillful trade. In 1997, Carlos joined the 24 Hour Club | AA Intergroup and began his commitment to sobriety. Carlos was 25 years and 5 months sober. Upon success, he devoted much of his time to others coming through the program, he helped make improvements to the facility, and saved numerous lives while touching the hearts of many.

Carlos is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Jay Ramon and wife Sandy, and Kelly Ramon. He is survived by his son Carlos L. Ramon and wife Christina Ramon, daughter Lucy Ramon and partner Kelly Barnett, grandsons Senior Airman Christian A. Ramon and wife Airman First Class Salma Ramon, Airman Basic Joseph D. Ramon and wife Karla Ramon, and granddaughter Emma C. Ramon, brother Lee Ramon, sisters Bee Ramon Gonzales, and Mary Ann Ramon, and many special nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Service information for Carlos H. Ramon is as follows: A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 29th from 5-9pm at Forrest Park Lawndale Funeral Home - Grand Chapel. 5-9pm is visitation, with a Rosary at 7pm.

The Service will be held on Thursday, March 30th at 11:00am with a Mass at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church located at 9217 E Avenue L., Houston, Texas 77012.

The Burial will be held on Thursday, March 30th at 1pm at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
