He is preceded in death by his father Angel Garcia and father-in-law Joe "JDY" Ysaquirre.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife Vivian Garcia; daughter Caroline Garcia; step-son Richard Almendarez Jr. and wife Leslie; mother Rose Mary Gonzalez and husband Domingo; grandchildren Olivia Garcia, Gabriella Ramirez, Mariah Almendarez, Richard Alemendarez III and Melina Almendarez; siblings Gail Rosas, Mark Garcia, Diane Odom, Mary Perez and Veronica Villanueva; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5pm - 9pm, on Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will begin at 10:30am, on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Forest Park Lawndale, followed by a graveside Service at 12:30pm, at Houston National Cemetery.
