Carlos Mauricio Carranza

He was preceded in death by both of his parents.

Carlos was a loving and caring husband and father that will be missed by everyone that knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Gloria Daysi Carranza; daughters, Nelvi Carranza, Karla Carranza and Natalie Carranza; grandson, GeanCarlo Carranza; seven brothers and sisters, Petrona Carranza viuda de Abarca, Antonio Carranza, Josefina Carranza de Ayala, Alfredo Carranza, Arturo Carranza, Marina Carranza de Hernandez, Estela Carranza de Arias; Eleven brothers and sisters-in-law, Mario Mejia, Arlos Mejia, Cely Rodriguez, Maribel Perez, Javier Mejia, Audberto Mejia, Patty Alcantar, Cecilia Murillo, Domingo Mejia, Ernesto Mejia, and Marvin Mejia and many nieces and nephews and other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will begin on Friday, August 10, 2012, at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77079, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Vigil Service and Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will take place at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
