Carlisle (Carl) Anthony Aspinall, Jr., left us to be with our Lord on January 31, 2022. He was 40 years old. He was born to Carlisle Aspinall Sr. and Coleen Austin Aspinall on May 20, 1981 in the Bronx, NY. At the age of (4) he and his family relocated to Houston TX.
Carl attended Roth Elementary, Hildebrandt Intermediate, Concordia Lutheran High School, and Klein High School where he played football. He graduated from the University of Houston – Main Campus with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance.
After graduating, he entered the field of security and later realized his dream to be an entrepreneur, becoming a real estate developer. He would purchase and rehabilitate homes, enjoying the transformation process and the unique challenges each project presented.
Carl was passionate about his family. He was especially proud of his sister Catherine (Cati) Aspinall, his brother Trevor Aspinall and nephew Clive Edwards. He loved to play video games with Clive. He took his big brother role seriously with Trevor by sharing his swag. He was a protective brother to Cati, schooling her about the ways of “boys”.
He loved his Mom! He was her strong boy. Always assisting with tasks he deemed too challenging for her. She was his safe place, his first love and his forever love. He made her a Mom!
His dad was his mentor, his hero and his friend! Carl strived to make him proud. As a younger boy he loved to wrestle with his dad, often inviting his friends over to show off his prowess. His entrepreneurial spirit was born from his father’s example and his desire to follow in his footsteps.
Carl was loved by his step mother Karla Aspinall and step sisters. He leaves behind his Godfather Colin Douglas.
Carl is survived by his uncles: Anthony Aspinall Sr. (Arlene), Donovan Aspinall (Ruth), Michael Aspinall (Sandra), Dave Aspinall (Andrea), and Trevor Austin (Lisa). Aunts: Marlene Francis (Leonard), Olive Lindsay, Edith Joyce Aspinall, Sonia Peart, Palma Campbell, and Fay Davis.
His numerous cousins will miss him tremendously as he was always the life of every party. They will miss his comedic charm, his selfless love for them, and his steady and constant smile.
Carl is preceded in death by his grandparents, Locksley and Euphemia Aspinall, Thomas and Thelma Austin, and aunt Dawn Austin.
Funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, February 12th 2022, at 11:00am at the Brookside Funeral Home – Champions located at 3410 Cypress Creek Parkway, Houston, TX 77068. Visitation will begin at 9:30am. Pastor Glenn King will officiate and a reception will follow thereafter.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude at their time of bereavement. We have been comforted by your prayers, visits, phone calls, texts, and social media posts. We hope that you are comforted by all the fond memories you have of our precious Carl.
