He is also preceded in death by his brothers, Charles Swindoll, Lee Swindoll and sister, Sally Shultz.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 53 years, Leda M. Swindoll, daughters, Leda R. Bell and husband, Steven Bell, and Wanda K. Venturella. Grand-children, Joseph Anthony Venturella, his wife Erika, Carla Koehler, her partner, Jose Sanchez, Casey Zavala, her husband, Arnold Zavala, Amanda Perez, her husband, Savon Perez; Great-grandchildren, Anthony, Giovanni, Bryce, Julian, A.J., Briana, Oscar, Aubreeanna, Skarlett, and Marilyn; Brother, Oliver Zeke Swindoll, Jr. and wife Judy and numerous extended family members.

His many joys in life included trips to the Casino’s with his wife. If there is a casino they were going to find it. Fishing and hunting with his grandson’s. He enjoyed attending his Great-grandchildren’s events and watching them participate in everything they did. He was always their biggest fan.

A visitation for Carl will be held Tuesday, August 17, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039, followed by a Memorial Service from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
